Thankfully, there is a weight loss solution enabling you with the knowledge and tools to lose weight and keep it off for good, and that is by means of the medically developed weight loss program, Ideal Protein Weight Loss.

What is Ideal Protein?

Ideal Protein is a 3-phase protein-based ketogenic weight loss system designed by a medical professional. This is not just another fad high protein diet. Rather, Ideal Protein’s program consists of low carbohydrates, low-fat, and a sufficient amount of protein. The balanced combination promotes rapid fat loss as well as positive health advantages for those with issues such as high blood pressure and cholesterol.

Ideal Protein allows you to be in control of your health and your weight. The large selection of snacks and meals will guarantee you remain satisfied. Utilizing food as medicine, Ideal Protein will allow you to lose weight and be the healthiest version of you that you can be.

How Ideal Protein Weight Loss Works

As stated above, Ideal Protein is a 3-phase program that resets your body in all ways to ensure success. Each phase focuses on resetting your body, resetting your mind, and proving you that resetting is POSSIBLE and log lasting.

Phase 1 – Weight Loss
During the first phase, you will reset your body to burn fat and lose weight and this phase continues until your weight loss goal is achieved. A person can expect a weight loss of 6 to 8 pounds during the first two weeks. Adhering properly to the Ideal Protein Protocol will keep you losing three to five pounds each week thereafter.

The weight loss phase is structured to promote the most fat loss through a safe and natural metabolic state in the body called ketosis. Nutritional ketosis is achieved by limiting carbohydrates and calories which causes the body to take stored fat as an alternative energy source for the body’s daily needs.

Phase 2 – Stabilization
During the second phase, you will start the stabilization process through which you slowly come out of ketosis and slow down the weight loss process maintaining a healthy weight by building sustainable healthy habits. After reaching your goal weight, the body will often fight to regain the lost weight by increasing your appetite and hunger or reducing the time between meals that you feel satisfied, creating a state of more calories being desired than needed. However, the stabilization phase addresses this problem directly by providing nutritional interventions that help manage hunger and maintain weight loss.

Phase 3 – Maintenance
During the final phase, you will move into the maintenance phase which is living a healthy life without dieting. Based on your activity level, carbohydrates will continue to be increased so that you remain satisfied and maintain your weight loss.

What To Expect?

Phase 1 – Depending on your starting weight, most people can expect to eat 3 Ideal Protein partial meal replacements along with 4-6 ounces of whole protein, such as beef, chicken, or fish. Daily nutrients are an essential part of each day including fiber, water, and other nutrients provided through consuming low-glycemic vegetables, Ideal Protein micronutrient replacements and a minimum of sixty-four ounces of water. You will also be meeting with your doctor or Ideal Protein coach once per week to check on various measurements in order to keep track and ensure your success. During the weight loss phase, you are encouraged to eat the following:

  • An Ideal Protein breakfast food
  • An Ideal Protein lunch with two cups of selected vegetables (your Ideal Protein coach will provide a list of vegetables to eat with lunch and dinner)
  • A 4–6-ounce portion of whole protein (your choice) with two cups of selected vegetables
  • An Ideal Protein snack.
  • You can eat unlimited raw vegetables from the specified list provided by your Ideal Protein coach.
  • Each Ideal Protein meal replacement provides about twenty grams of protein and less than 200 calories.
  • Since caloric intake is drastically reduced during this phase, exercise is not encouraged during the first three weeks.

Phase 2 – You want your body to maintain its new weight and resist it wanting to regain the weight with increased appetite. During the stabilization phase, calories are increased with the removal of 1 Ideal Protein partial meal replacement and replacing it with 4-6 ounces of protein and increasing the vegetable intake from two cups to four cups.

Reintroducing carbohydrates into the diet is key during the stabilization phase. This is done by having an established foundation of unlimited vegetables as well as a calculated increase in net carbohydrates with a continuous weekly increase for hunger and satiety while monitoring weight trends.

Phase 3 – This is the last phase of the weight loss program and teaches you to keep the weight off while having more freedom with your diet. The maintenance phase lasts for a year but provides principles for life. You may choose to eat Ideal Protein foods during this time, but it is not required. Principles implemented during this phase include:

  • Outside of breakfast, avoid food combinations that are both rich in carbs and fats. For example, if your lunch consists of high fat and protein, limit the amount of carbohydrates.
  • Protein intake daily should coincide with your body weight. Take your body weight in pounds and divide it in half. This should be your goal number of grams of protein to consume daily. For example, a 140-pound person would try to eat around seventy grams of protein daily.
